| HANDICAPPED BOY FROM GUATEMALA |
This family traveled from bordering Guatemala, a day's drive away. The little
boy, Juan, is severely handicapped, but his parents had never received a diagnosis or explanation of his condition.
I was able to help them understand the boy's syndrome, and treated him for pneumonia and intestinal parasites. His family
desparately needs a stroller or wagon for the little boy, as they can no longer carry him around. Our team will be sending
one to them. We would appreciate monetary donations or a stroller or wagon if you have one you're not using. His
family would be forever grateful!
Aaron and I hope to travel back to La Ceiba, perhaps even as long-term medical missionaries,
once our children are a little older. The sanitation and living conditions of this poverty-stricken country make it
a dangerous place to raise children. Please pray for wisdom and discernment as we continue to think and pray about this
choice!
